In this message from Luke 19:28–40, “Here Comes the King,” we see why Jesus is the better King worth following. As He rides into Jerusalem, Jesus shows that He knows all things, keeps His promises, and comes in humility just as Scripture foretold. He is the King who brings true peace with God and with others, even as He heads toward the cross.

We also see that Jesus is the King who cannot be dethroned—no religious leader, government, or cultural pressure can silence His glory. If His followers were quiet, even the rocks would cry out in praise. This message invites us, especially as we move toward Advent and Christmas, to trust this King more deeply, find our peace in Him, and respond with joyful, shameless worship to the One who gave His life for us and is worthy of all our praise.
