117 Praise the Lord, all nations!
Extol him, all peoples!
2 For great is his steadfast love toward us,
and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.

Good morning. I hope that you guys are having a great week so far. This is Isaac, and I have just a quick encouragement coming to you from Psalm 117. It's only two verses long, but it's packed full of goodness. It says, Praise the Lord, all nations, extol him, all peoples, for great is his steadfast love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord. There's two quick truths that I want to share with you this morning from these two verses. The first one is this that God's faithfulness to us is not something that's stuck in the past or something that we can hopefully wait for. No, it is something that we know is constant. God has been faithful throughout all of the generations, ever since the beginning of time, and we know that he is going to continue to be faithful, even if we don't understand our current situation or circumstance. But the second truth we see is this that we should praise God for his faithfulness. It's written, Praise the Lord, all nations, extol him, all peoples. And then it talks about his steadfast love toward us and that his faithfulness endures forever. And then it ends by saying, Praise the Lord. My challenge and encouragement to you this morning is this. When was the last time that you praised God and thanked him for his faithfulness in your life? I would encourage you, after you listen to this, take 30 seconds, take 60 seconds, and just thank God for what he's done for you. I love that this past Sunday we started our service by in our prayer time by praying to God for seven things that He you're thankful for, seven ways that you've seen His faithfulness. Let's not let that just be something we've done once a week, but let's make that a daily rhythm for us. Well, that's all that I have for you this morning. I hope that it was encouraging. Let us strive to magnify Christ and share the gospel in our homes in the Wimberley Valley and beyond. Peace.
